Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts in Diabetes Unit, KEM Hospital research center, Pune
Bioinformatician (2 posts)
1) Senior: with a PhD, and preferably up to ~5 years of experience as a Post-doctoral fellow in the relevant field. Good track record of publications and/or other recognitions. Advanced knowledge of informatics, genetics, genomics, epigenetics. Advanced knowledge of processing and analyzing Next-Generation Sequencing and multi-Omics data. Good knowledge of programming languages for data analysis and tool development. Experience in systems biology will be an advantage.
2) Junior: MSc in bioinformatics/ statistics. With a sound knowledge of programming languages and data analysis
Senior Statistician:
• Experience as Post-doctoral experience/Exceptional candidate with fresh PhD/or ~5 years of experience. Good track record of publications and/or other recognitions. Experience in biomedical and longitudinal data analysis. And has an expertise in life course analysis.
